Mary Bouldin

Web Design and front-end programming, Graphic Design, Motion Graphics

Creating websites for over nine years while working with changing browser compatibility issues, Flash, CSS, JavaScript, and Search Engine Optimization have given Mary the expertise to take website construction and design into creative new directions. After returning to college to collect a BA in graphic design three years ago, she has added print design and identity production to her ensemble.

Mary especially enjoys connecting with clients to take the elements necessary for a good website or print design, and bringing them to life with eye-catching production, adding interactive motion graphics in applicable applications.

Mary is silly. She has a ridiculous sense of humor, which can be seen with examples on her youtube page. Yes, some of the work is serious, but much of it is purely just for fun; pleasure in design.

Mary also writes a blog on bad website design, covering mistakes in functionality, design, presentation, and other blatantly ridiculous mistakes.

Shooting news, events, documentaries and scripted video productions of all kinds has been, not only a job, but my pleasure for the past 7 years. In addition to capturing images I have brought my passion for audio-visual story telling to the screen in my role as editor and motion graphic designer. My favorite part of this endeavor is building a relationship with clients and learning about subjects of our projects. Each project has its own personality, challenges and opportunities. The intersection of the subject matter, client needs and creativity is where I work to produce unique audio-visual media.
